Unfortunately replacing a car's door cylinder is quite difficult, since it requires at a minimum dismantling of the interior door panel in the majority of cases. It is not something that the majority of people would prefer to attempt on their own. It could be risky in the wrong way.
The lock cylinder is removed from the handle first. You will have to locate the screw at the top of the lock housing (usually the upper right corner). You may find it hidden beneath plastic pieces or barely visible. If you can't find it then use a screwdriver to remove any trim panels that are blocking your view of the screw. Then, use a pick or awl or a small screwdriver to release the lock cylinder retaining tab and remove the cylinder straight out of the housing.
Once G28 Car Keys has been removed, there are a few things you need to do to prepare it for use. The keyway must be cleaned of grease and dirt and the cylinder should be lubricated in order to prevent it from getting stuck in the lock. This can be accomplished using brake cleaner. If this doesn't work then you should take off the doorknob and examine the spindle. It might be worn out.
The procedure for removing a door handle or panel varies depending on the vehicle, but is generally the same. After you have removed the panel, you'll have to find the set screws that are holding the lock cylinder. These screws are located on either the inside of the handle or in the middle of the panel, depending on the model. Remove the screws and carefully align the cylinder with the keyway. You may damage the components if you overtighten the screws.
Door Lock Replacement

When you put the lock back together, be sure not to reuse the previous screws (unless you have the identical color). Use the screws included in your new lock kit instead. If you don't have the right size screws, visit an improvement or hardware shop and purchase some that match the hardware used on your new door lock.
Make sure that your new latch plates and deadbolt are the same size as the original ones, and that they are aligned over the latch hole on the door jamb. After everything is in place then push the remaining screws to tighten them up. Now you can check the latch and deadbolt by using your key. If the key isn't turning, it's time to call a locksmith.
